It's me!

I’m a UX designer who helps small, agile teams with limited resources turn vague ideas into community-oriented design solutions, drawing on my experience in marketing, photography, and storytelling. I have loved art and the process of creating a product ever since I was a kid; I had a painting service in high school painting jackets, water bottles, and shoes because I love creating a practical experience for people through design.

I have a Bachelor of Global Business and Digital Arts at the University of Waterloo and 2 years of experience in multimedia and UX design which combines my passion of design, deep learning, and community engagement. I learn by listening, grounding my projects in research, feedback, and lived experience, and I’m always looking for patterns and insights that shape more thoughtful design. Right now, I'm in Santa Clara pursuing my Master's in Human Computer Interaction at the University of California, Santa Cruz Silicon Valley, conducting research on cyclist behaviors and routines to redesign hazard reporting tools and improve road safety for urban cyclists. I'm also wrapping up my capstone with Microsoft Research Health Futures (you should ask me about it). Outside of work and school, I am an avid hiker and outdoor adventurer!
